<font color=#000033>It had been a gloomy overcast afternoon but Ravel didn't mind. His class had been let out early, a trip to Dima sweetie's room had acquired him a new book for reading (it looked hard but Dima had recommended it as good reading), and he was now free to either wander about campus before going back to the dorms for dinner. Dima even said they could go spider hunting again tomorrow. So he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings much as he walked along the back side of the Physical Sciences. He reached up to pull loose his hair, shaking out the waves from where it'd been bound up. It felt nice to let it down once in a while.

"Hey babe. Hey!" It took him a few seconds to realize that he was the one being addressed and he turned his head. Three guys, two tall and one stockier, had wandered out from the buildings as well. One was smoking, but it was the blonder tall one that was addressing Ravel. He had perfect teeth, commercial teeth.

"You've got the time?" His eye followed the curve of Ravel's neck down to his bare shoulders peeking from beneath blonde hair in the loose scoop neck that Ravel had picked out that morning. Ravel gave a small shake of the head. He'd left his cell phone back in Cayden's room.

"Sorry, cutie~" He said with a small smile out of habit. The guy seemed distracted but his shorter friend starred at Ravel's face for a bit longer and stepped forward.

"Hey, you're that theatre dude. You're not really a girl, are you?" Flicking a thumb towards Ravel, he turned to his friend.

"This is a guy, man." He turned back with almost a leer. "Your name's something with an R, right? Ravel?" He seemed to be waiting for an answer, so Ravel nodded. The first guys stepped closer, Ravel taking a step back as politely as he could, bag still at his side.

"Coors. They're right. You really look just like a bird. That's sick." He was still looking at Ravel's chest, looking downwards and then back up again.

"Nice ass. You still have a dick right?" Ravel was caught off-guard by the comment and just blinked at him, lips open a little. He licked his lips a little before just smiling and replying more by instinct than thought.

"Wouldn't you like to know~" He regretted the reply when the second guy moved in closer, essentially boxing him in. He glanced over at the space between them and the wall.

"Oh? So it is true that you're a good fuck? Easy lay if we ignore the dick huh?" The second guy leaned in. "It true you shagged your profs for a good mark? Or you just suck them off?"</font>

<font color=#6699cc>Ravel's first thought as he stirred was that he was warm. Someone had pulled a blanket over him and that someone seemed to be situated right next to him, face down, long blonde hair tousled across the pillow. Ravel was curled up against the sleeping form, somehow having managed to wrap his arms around Cayden's even in his sleep, one leg tucked under the taller Hawksley. Cayden's face was turned towards him as Ravel blearily peeked one eye open. A stray bang had fallen over his face and his breathing was causing it to float this way and that. Ravel smiled and leaned in closer, content with the immediate situation. He tucked his head down on his brother's shoulder, just watching his brother's sleeping face. The comfort of his familiarity and presence was nothing new. </font>

<font color=##6699cc> Ravel had been in class when the vision hit, glancing out the window that looked out over the large tree covered green expansion surrounding the school. When the vision ended, he was visibly blanched, enough for the girl that sat next to him to notice. Pleading a stomachache, he'd slipped out of the classroom, drawing the hood of his oversized sweater jacket up. He slipped his left hand into his pocekt; he'd clenched it hard enough to draw blood with his nails. Wandering back to the dormitory, he made a beeline for his floor. Stopping between his and Cayden's room, he hesitated. Was his brother home? Before he could think some more though, the door opened and Ky stepped out, stopping in mild surprise when he saw him. Ravel gave him a forced smile and half-enthusiastic flirty wave of the hand before slipping in past the open door, careful not to touch the boy for a change. He heard the door close behind the motorcyclist even as he kicked off his flip-flops and dove under the comforter, curling up under the blankets.

No matter how tightly he could try to hold his mental shields up, they still were not perfect. And though he could try to keep from reading those around him, visions sometimes slipped past without warning, unwanted and unavoidable. Most were emotional scenes, warnings his mother had called them. A curse, he considered them, as he pulled the blankets closer with his eyes closed shut, trying to surround himself with the familiar and calming smell of his brother. What good was it to know things you could do nothing about?</font>

<font color=#6699cc>Ravel was going to start swinging the bag as he made his way down the schoolyard path out to the meeting spot with Cillian, but remembered just in time. Instead he hummed a little as he walked, the girly blue long-sleeved top paired with a loose hooded jacket robe that draped below his shoulders. He didn't mind bringing food; money was not an issue, the Italian restaurant had been on his way back from the bookstore, and he hadn't eaten all day either except for a yogurt in the morning. He was supposed to meet Cayden back at his room later but he figured two hours would be enough to take a romp around the park.

However the word romp was suppose to be taken. Spying the broad-shouldered form of the groundskeeper, he grinned to himself. He was actually curious what stories the man could tell him.
